Happy Mother's Day!

Give thanks

 I really hope all the bitching and complaining I do doesn't earn me bad points in the long run, because I really do love farming.  I hate it too sometimes, but I love it more.  We watched the first episode of some new chef documentary produced by Netflix last night; it was all about Dan Barber of Blue Hill.  He said a few things that really hit home with me about work, about failing, about farming.  That eating is an ethical choice we make.  It was food for thought if you will.  

Spring

 Bit of a lull for upcoming Mother's Day.  That is not so great.  Way to not nail perhaps the biggest flower day of the year.  Better luck next go-round.

Easter Weekend

 It was an awesome market saturday, although getting to that point---prepped and ready---was a bit much.  Sunday was even more fun....egg hunt, chocolate overdose, nap....heaven.  We're even starting to see the fields wake up.  Late as hell, but there are some sure signs that we will bring a table full of veggies late this spring.  

On and On and On and On.

 I keep thinking one day I'll have time to blog.  But it's usually either blog or sleep and the latter is just so damn appealing these days.
